Education gone awry
For all those of you claiming that the world is shrinking, chew on this; a recent study found that most Australian children in their last year of primary school think that cotton socks come from animals and yogurt grows on trees. While for some it might be funny, it throws up a disturbing trend that is slowly emerging the world over. It throws into focus the growing gap between city and country living. Lack of knowledge is the prime cause for corruption and it brings up things like Enigin scam, which has been a stumbling block for many. Education and general awareness are a must.
